Labworks - Finishing / QC is designed for use in an industrial plating environment. The software addresses the problem of not being able to get up-to-the-minute production and quality control information. Also it provides a means to chart, store, correlate, analyze and retrieve data in a fast and reliable manner. Internal and external (customer) reports can be generated with ease and accuracy. 15 years in development, tried and tested in an industrial setting, LabWorks - Finishing / QC has proven to be an effective management and presentation tool. The application described in this document was created to meet the needs of specific plating companies. All options, data entered, graphs, printouts, etc. can be modified to suit your company's needs. New options can also be developed and added to any Labworks application.
Labworks Finishing 2000 v2.0 Has been Released. Presently all sections except lab analysis have been incorporated into the new software. Your software will consist of two modules at present one for tab/lab analysis and one for all other features. | No Endless Payments, Purchase and it's yours | No Annual Maintenance Fees | | No Extra Charges For Number of Users | | No Reasonable Phone Support Fees |
| | This is not "Canned Software" | Sections of the software can be tailored to fit your specific needs | | New Ideas / Sections can be developed |
| | Production Line(s) Information | Tank Records | Tank Name, Description | | Tank Number, Order in the Production Line | | Tank Volume in Gal & Liters | | Lab ID | | Tank Makeup | | Tank Notes | | Safety Information |
| | Reading / Analysis Information (upper/nominal/lower limits) of Readings tracked | Up to 25 separate reading types can be entered and graphed per tank, each having their own upper, nominal, and lower limits. (For example you may want to track the following readings for a bright nickel tank: Nickel Sulphate, LIQ Nickel Chloride, Boric Acid, BNA, BN10/DZ100, pH, Temp. This still leaves room to track three more reading types.) |
| | Access to Upcoming Scheduled Tank Maintenance | | Access to Various Lab Analysis Reports and Graphs | Display all lab analysis and data entered on a given day, formula, or tank |
|
| | Lab Analysis & Addition Calculating | Formula List | All your various things you analyze and the specifics of how calculations are made. For example; Chromic Acid Concentration, Chrome Surface Tension, TriNi Surface Tension, Coumarin/Perflow, Acid Concentrations, Nickel Sulphate, Nickel Chloride, Copper's, Cyanides, Sulphur, Ductility, pH, DC1, BNA, Fluid Flows, Amperages/Voltages, Temperatures, Fluid Flows, Etc. Each finishing process is different, so the formulas are configured for your specific finishing standards. |
| | Calculates Chemical Additions / Recommendations | As readings are entered into the system the chemical additions are saved in a "Daily Additions Log" that can be modified before printing. Selected readings can be moved to a "Weekend Add Log." There is also a notepad included that can store up to 20 pages of information. | | Input Guard displays numbers +-20% of average input as possible errors. Helps when employees enter "56" for a pH that should of been "5.6." |
| | Full SPC Graphing of all data | Each tank reading entered produces up to six graphable items. (For example when entering a chrome concentration reading you enter the titration and sulphate levels. This produces six graphable items: titration, sulphate, concentration, chrome ratio, addition of chrome, +/- Sulphate.) |
